Hello, I’m Mary.
After spending many years living abroad, I eventually found my way back to Sicily and decided to create something that reflects what I value most: making people feel welcome, comfortable, and at home.
Little Haven was born from a personal dream. My parents, originally from Caltagirone, chose to return to their beloved hometown for retirement, and through this project I found a way to stay close to them while creating a place where travellers can experience the warmth and authenticity that make this city so special.
Having lived in different countries and met people from many cultures, I understand how important it is to find a place that feels safe, comfortable, and welcoming when you are far from home. That is the feeling I wanted to create at Little Haven.
I am a friendly, open-minded, and caring host, always happy to help with recommendations, local tips, or simply making sure your stay is as enjoyable as possible.
For me, hosting is not only about providing accommodation. It is about sharing a place that is close to my heart, supporting the town my family loves, and helping visitors discover the beauty, traditions, and genuine spirit of Caltagirone.
